Service Children’s Network (SCN)
Previously known as the Service Families Strategy Group, the Service Children’s Network (SCN) continues to champion support for service-connected children and young people across education and community sectors. Chaired by Angela Campbell, SCN holds virtual termly meetings to connect and empower professionals working in this space.
Termly Meetings
SCN meetings are split into two dynamic parts:
1. Initial Briefings Designed for Senior Leadership Teams, Unit Welfare Officers, Military personnel, and Local Authority representatives, this session shares essential national and local updates, policy developments, and announcements about upcoming events.
2. CPD and Networking Tailored for school-based advocates, this half of the meeting features insightful guest speakers from diverse organisations, opportunities for collaboration, and an interactive SCN Surgery where members can discuss challenges and share solutions.
