Celebrating Service Children All Year Round

Coming soon…
Festival of Remembrance
Friday 7th November

Each year, hundreds of Service children from across North Yorkshire gather at Ripon Cathedral for a powerful and uplifting Festival of Remembrance. This unique event honours the sacrifices made by Armed Forces families while celebrating the identity, resilience, and voices of the children who live that experience every day.
Expect heartfelt performances, creative contributions from schools, and moments of reflection led by the children themselves. The Festival of Remembrance brings together community, remembrance, and pride in one unforgettable event.
This is more than a ceremony—it’s a celebration of who our Service children are, and the strength they carry with them wherever they go.
